Found this video in Youtube. Who did this and is that a real story??? What happen to our organisation???
放弃,只因为爱得太深;
爱太深,才对自己没把握;
要用放弃做赌注;

World Boardband Speed vs Price

Above chart is base on the information from OECD & ITIF, it included 30 countries’s boardband average speed & cost per 1 mbps. From the chart, Japan & Korea is top in boardband speed with lowest price. Japan is about RM 1.00/mbps & Korea is about RM 1.60/mbps. Let see what we get in Malaysia, 1 mbps for RM 77. I think it’s the most expensive in the world.
In Taiwan, 10 mbps is about NT$999 (about RM 105/mth).
In China, 2 mbps is about RMB 90/mth (about RM45/mth).
In Hong Kong, 25 mbps is HK$157/mth (about RM70/mth), for 100mbps is HK$239/mth (about RM105/mth).
In Macau, 5mbps is about RM 105/mth.
Now we are going to spend about RM 11 billion to build so called highspeed boardband at 10mbps by next year in Klang Valley area and need another 2 years to reach most of the place in Malaysia. By the time, 10mbps is no longer called highspeed boardband lah.
We are now paying almost double the price but half speed of what China people got in their country. While we waiting for highspeed boardband, can we get RM 20/mth for 1 mbps?
Democracy in our Organisation?
First time I use english to write about this topic “democracy”, I hope you can understand what I mean.
In any democratic country, the people reserved their rights to choose who is their leader to lead the country. Every citizen in that country have their own rights to votes & to choose. It also give the same rights to all citizen for them to offer themselves to be the candidate for any position that available.
If JCI Malaysia members who attended 34th Annual National Convention, you knew that there are still 1 National Vice President post available. The year before 2008, whenever there is a vacancy of National elected post, there will be a nomination process through the mail ballot. Since after 33rd Tawau National Convention, elected NP use her power to appointed a National Vice President and subject to mail ballot approval. Well, you may see there is not much problem on that issue but if you look at it more deeper, who choose that candidate for us to vote? What will happen if someone would like to offer their service but National President don’t like him and refused to appoint him? Is this so called democracy????
In democracy world, we should let whoever want to serve to nominate their name and let all Chapter to votes & choose who they think the most suitable for National Vice President 2010. We need to remember that, as the members of this organisation we have our membership rights & also the human rights. We need to fight for our rights and bring transparency, democracy to our organisation.
Let us tell our newly elected President, we don’t want that kinds of autocratic styles but we want democratic way. Give us back our rights to let whoever want to serve to nominate and then let us to votes who is the most suitable candidate to serve the organisation.
